Celebrate Birthday days, large menu to choose from, food arrive hot and plenty on plate enjoyed my meal would do it again.

Our first visit here and we weren't disappointed! Staff were polite and friendly and managed to take and process around 20 meals for our group. Everyone received their food quickly and efficiently, so we could all eat together. Portions were on the large side, well presented and with no complaints at all! We would be happy to return, in a group or just the two of us. Prices were reasonable too and the desserts looked fantastic, although we had no room for one! Thank you, everyone at the Ocean Inn, for a great experience and if I had one suggestion, it would be to add a couple of Gluten Free choices to the menu.

Great pub, lovely staff, very welcoming and welcome dogs, food was great, good prices, definitely will go back, also has great garden for summer and I know it gets busy.

Thanks to all at the Ocean for our lovely Christmas meal today 41 people all enjoyed our three courses meal you all worked so hard and every one was so pleased with what we ordered. I have been going here for a long time now and never been disappointed with anything we have ordered top Mark's from me would highly recommend

Cosy little pub by the beachfront. Decent food and well priced. Service is fast and with a smile. Pretty cheap beers and probably the best pub in the area.

Jay and I went here for dinner this evening, haven't been back to Dymchurch for 30+ years since I was little. The Ocean Inn was welcoming to me and Jay and our little dog Bonny. Jay had plaice and I had haddock and it was cooked to perfection. It was regular size but it certainly filled us up. Friendly staff, very reasonably priced, we would certainly visit again.

Great old pub, food was very good, plenty of choice on the menu, not expensive, staff very friendly and welcoming, and they allowed dogs, big thumbs up for that!Would definitely call back here.

Lovely place to have a spot of lunch, dinner or tea. Reasonably priced delicious food, friendly staff and customers. Will definitely be going back.

Called in for a few drinks with family after a meal out. Spent £60 on two rounds and had a few games of pool whilst talking and had a table for the five of us near the pool table. When some young guys started playing pool they asked for the music to be turned up loud! We could no longer hear each other even shouting. I asked behind the bar for the music to be turned down again but was practically ignored. If it was turned up by 5 they turned it back down by 1 as we still couldn’t speak, so we left. Very poor attitude towards us. The two playing pool were aware,and commented that we had requested the music be turned back down, and were smirking and singing and seemed high. Can see how trouble could start here. Be aware. Won’t be going back.

Where to start.. amazing food. Everything tasted fresh. I had a smoked haddock chowder and a fish pie. Out of this world. The missus had a roast and hasn't stopped banging on about it. Friendly staff and cosy dining area. Would make the long drive from home to here just for this place !

Lovely location with lots of atmosphere. Had a late lunch here whilst on holiday and they had food that catered for the whole family; good quality at a reasonable price.

Excellent food and service, highly recommend fish and chips, just melts in your mouth.Dog friendly and very polite staff.Good value for money Very clean and tidy, can't wait to go back

Literally minutes away from the sea front. A general pub menu, nothing fancy but adequate for a bite. Had cod and chips, this was freshly cooked and quite fresh. Dogs are allowed.

Popped in on the spur of the moment and had a pint. I found the bar area to be clean, the service excellent and even had a little banter with a couple of the locals. Sadly I didn't have time to sample the food so can't comment on that. All in all a friendly and enjoyable experience!!

Fantastic pub, food is awesome and plenty of choice, you can eat in or out and they welcome dogs in the restaurant too as long as they are behaved. Great play area for the kids and literally by the beach. Seafood stall outside also. Staff can't do enough to make you happy.

We stopped here to meet some friends for a drink and Sunday lunch. Out friends cycled over and weren't eating so we sat outside for a couple of drinks before they left and we went inside for food. A good choice as it happened as there was a screaming child inside when we arrived but he'd left by the time we wanted to eat. Dogs are welcome inside which was good as it's a nice beach to walk along when the tide is out. Check tide times if you plan on walking your dog, though, as there's nothing but water and concrete when the tide is in. A good selection of beers, the Directors was well kept, and they display an impressive array of gins. Sadly on this occasion we were not sampling spirits but it's duly noted for next time. Service is quick and friendly with a god atmosphere in the pub generally. Sunday lunch was really rather good. I had the beef which was tender and tasty while my partner had chicken which was equally well done. The vegetables were freshly cooked and very nice, the cauliflower cheese a pleasant surprise. I initially I thought a couple more roast potatoes would have been welcome, especially as they were crisp and fresh rather than the all too frequent re-heated dried out item, but the vegetable and meat portions were generous so no chance of being left hungry. Definitely a good value Sunday lunch and we would go there again if we were in that part of the world.

Good choice on menue. Well cooked, reasonably priced, generous portions.Had the Cod and prawns in a chillie sauce. Very nice.Have eaten here on numerous occasions and they even welcome well behaved dogs.

Absolutely love the food here just a real shame they have made it 12-3 & 6-9 as it used to be all day. This was a disappointment for my partner and I when we tried to visit recently. Ended up with fish n chips from across the road, not ideal but made do.

Anyone who serves 'Korker' sausages deserves a 5* review! Lovely unplanned stop off on a blowy February day. Sat in front of the fireplace eating a fabulous lunch!

Was busy and got served uncooked cod, sent it back expecting a fresh cooked one, got the original opened up cod returned after a microwave blast, which we refused to accept. Waiter came back 10mins later with our money instead of new properly cooked fish. Absolutely shocking service, almost raw (large) cod portion in centre. First time ever I've sent fish back to a chippy restaurant it's not difficult cooking cod!Edited to add it's pointless emailing the owner after they commented on this review as they already refunded my money rather than apologise and give me a decent meal at the time. They even sent a 15yr old kid out with cash in his hand to refund me while I was sat waiting! Very embarrassing for the kid why can't the manager step up on the day!!! Avoid this place.

Great drink, lovely food at reasonable prices, friendly staff with great atmosphere, clean and tidy, modern/traditional. Best part... our Rottweiler was welcome with a smile and a lick. Lovely place. Will go again.
