Lockdown Update 5 June 2020

Lockdown Update 5 June 2020

I don’t know about you but I am certainly ready for a nice, cold refreshing pint when all of this is over.

As the Government announced on the 11th of May 2020, Pubs are classed as “higher-risk businesses and public places” and we have been taking advice and preparing to open following the Covid-19 compliant guidelines.

Your health and wellbeing are important to us as we look forward to welcoming you back to The Ocean Inn and we are making the appropriate changes to ensure you can come back and enjoy the pub once again.

In Summary

    • Lamby’s Seafood Stall is reopening Wednesday 17th June 2020 – 11am – 5pm (Take Away only at the moment)
    • The Ocean Inn is planning to reopen hopefully on the 4th July 2020 – We are just awaiting Government Confirmation.

We are looking forward to reopening and we also understand that we need to open with the ‘new-normal’. 4th July is Independence Day and I am looking forward to celebrating America kicked us out and we have nothing to do with that clown Trump, having a few beers and watching some football. Anyway Politics aside, hopefully the weather will be great and when we open the doors, we will be very happy to see all your smiling faces again.

There is a little poll we would like you all to fill in please to let us know your feelings about Restaurants, Bars and Pubs being allowed to reopen. Take a vote and let us know.

Looking forward to it but for now stay safe

Lastly, I would just like to thank the NHS, our emergency services and all the key workers for their amazing work during the pandemic, you are all true hero’s.
